I saw magician Harry Blackstone Seniors' show at the State Theater when I was 10, and that same year under our Christmas tree was a Gilbert Magic Set. I dabbled for years, and in 1972 walked into a magic and novelty store, bought some magic tricks, and the die was cast. I did my first paid show that same year.Since then, I've performed in all types of venues, from auditoriums with a couple hundred people, to parlor shows, to close-up magic right under your nose. I've done corporate shows with themes and private home shows. I'm currently performing parlor magic and special events at 300 Clifton, the Carpenter Mansion, in Minneapolis.
My shows include the classics of magic, but no longer large scale illusions, nothing with boxes or animals. I am also the President of the local chapter of the International Brotherhood of Magicians.
